actualy I have both hd-dvd and blu-ray and most of the time both are identicle with the odd hd-dvd looking better.

My quote was twards some companies who deliver in poor quality mpeg 2 or bad transfers to blu-ray.

I have around 50 hd-dvds and 50 blu-rays.

it still also proves they loose money after manufacturing, you have to box it then you have to transport it then you have to deliver it.

just because they can make it half price doesnt mean there is extra money to add on once its made

As I and many others stated about the ps3 last year hardware sales don't matter if noone is buying your games. Check it out.

And remember guys I have a ps3 and enjoy it greatly. I'm just stating the facts. If this continues 3rd party companies will begin to drop the ps3 as a viable gaming platform because they will not be able to make a profit from it. There are already rumors of Capcom making Resident Evil 5 (sure to be one of their biggest titles this holiday season) a 360 exclusive. Not sure if its true but just in the past few weeks all the listings on major videogame sites like gamestop.com and places like amazon.com have changed their listing date for the ps3 version from Oct 5 to "to be announced" or have removed the listing alltogether. I know its still early in the race but no console in the history of gaming so far has been able to survive without 3rd party support. Look at hddvd without major studio support as a good analogy. Sony used the ps3 to win the next-gen format war but may have lost the console war in the process.

the ps3 is by far the worst gaming system i own. thats y i just use it for blu ray, i play games on my 360 and wii. mainly the 360!

Wouldn't that be a bit of news. 3rd party developers drop PS3 support because consumers have 'clearly' chosen the 360 for gaming. Oh, never mind, console wars have never been played that way.

ALL THEY HAVE TO DO NOW IS SELL SOME GAMES FOR IT !!!!
