Forgive me if this is old news, but has anyone noticed on HDDVD's website, thelookandsoundofperfect.com the coming soon section is gone and there has been no news updated since December?

If you're talking about the Coming Soon page under"Movies" then it's still there.

That's weird. When I click on your link, I can see the new news, but when I refresh the screen, they are gone. Sorry, guess the problem is on my end.

Also, remember that some other Warner titles are forthcoming to HD-DVD... I AM LEGEND, TWISTER etc.
Also, Image Entertainment has begun releasing discs in both formats, notably Before the Devil Knows Your Dead (April release), among a few others... although I can't find any mention of this release on DVDTOWN news.

Maybe you are missing the latest Java? I see both pages, although in the "Coming Soon" section if you click on the page 2, it'll take you to the entire collection section instead of a page 2 for the Coming Soon.

If Toshiba lobs in the towel, and it looks that way, will we still get HD DVD movies for the rest of the year. What happens with the current contracts with Paramount, Universal, Dreamworks,Weinstein and (WB through June 1st. ?)

Paramount/Dreamworks supposely have a "scape clause", the contract with Universal supposely was never re-negotiated, WB's contract does expire June 1st, as for Weinstein I have no idea. Toshiba's alledged drop of HD-DVD is for "new development" which could be interpret as no A4 and further players and perhaps no new firmware updates for current players. But then again, we won't know for sure until Toshiba gives out the official word if any.
