Well DVD is still king, until that changes the name would probably stay the same.

Let's not forget HD DVD's will still be around for a while also. Just because the players and movies will no longer be made it doesn't mean the existing ones will magically disappear.

Now we can focus more on the movies which will be a pleasant change of pace.

This is a HIGH DEFINITION forum, and as such HD-DVD is still going and will still exist until ALL the studios stop producing HD-DVD movies. If you want a BD-only forum, there a a lot of such fanboy based forums out there, go find yourself one.

BTW, I don't think Sony can paid this site to become BD only, there is still freedom of speech.

Yes this is a high-def forum and NOT an HD DVD forum. So if someone wants to clearly express their preference for Blu-ray then they're gonna do it whether you or any of your lackies like it or not.

It will be a long time before it says just blu ray. HD DVD players will still be able to be bought in stores for awhile, same with HD DVD movies. There's no reason to rename the forum anytime soon.
