No way dude,
The best cars are the most expensive-therefore, the best movies are the ones that cost the most to make :)
Just because it's popular at the box office, means it's the best film too :)

What did you mean by 'beat'? If you're talking about box office gross, then I hope you realize that popularity is not the best indicator of quality. If you mean 'beat' in terms of visual impact, then I have to say that all that jazz means little when the final product (like 'The Matrix Reloaded') doesn't have anything worthwhile to say.

As funny as it may sound, 'Bend It Like Beckham' is the best film that I've seen so far this year. I'm hoping to see better, of course--'Bend...' is only about a 7 in my opinion, but you can see how poor the quality of releases in general have been if the best of the year so far is only a 7. (I rate 'X2' a 7 as well, but it's not as good as 'Bend...', either.)

rmd12 (Rodney), you and I are going to get along great! I also strive on joking around, and I do it because I use to be a very serious person when I was younger. Guess you could say I'm making up for all the times I didn't laugh in my early years. I tried serious and it just doesn't work for me. Life is just too short to be serious all the time (no pun on you though, Eddie. You are the way you are and that's okay with me). The way I see it is we need to have serious people in the world to give reality a balance. At the same time the world needs people like myself and Rodney, no?

I knew the whole racial thing was a joke from the get-go. I figured it was way too unbelieveable to be true, therefore it had to be a joke. I do agree with Eddie, though, it can be difficult to tell, in a public forum, when someone is joking, or for that matter, when they're being serious. It's rather tough when you can't see a persons face or hear the tone in their voice. No matter though, I got the joke from the start!

LOL,
Dude, BMW's are not the most expensive, and hence not the best. That's why the Rolls Royce Silver Phantom is what all movies should aspire to be (y) [:)]

Woah... what Black Power undertones? I saw a TON of white people in Zion. And, if you want to get technical... it was more a slavery tone, with the black military doing what the smaller council (of mostly white people) told them.

As for your Persephone comment... mmmmm :D
