But hey, we Blu boys will always show love.

That's pretty good.

BTW, I may be new to this site and even Blu-ray.com I only joined in 01/2007, but I've been following Blu-ray for over 5 years now. From concept to reality basically. I also enjoyed the little battle between Blu-ray and HD DVD, hell at one point I was considering getting an HD-A2 because of the good employee price I would've gotten on it when it first came out. But in the end, I'm glad I ended up on the "winning" side.

Biker its best to not worry about it. Find another hobby like reading or working out or something. I'm not telling you to give up movies or not support blu-ray. That's ultimately your decision. Just as someone who is a little older I can tell you when you spend alot of time on an internet forum it can keep you from focusing on other things. You're obviously upset about hd dvd losing and the gloating by blu-ray supporters. I try to stay format neutral but I really loved hddvd. I'm upset too about what happened. I just refuse to waste my time playing around with stuff that doesn't really matter in the larger scope of things. I'm giving you this advice as one fellow movie-lover to another - just leave the forum for awhile and let the children have their fun. Maybe give them a few months. Then once everything blows over they will just leave and the forum will be like it used to be before all of this adolescent behavior started.

Thanks chem for the adivice, sounded a little sarcastic at first, but I appreciate it. I already am an avid health freak, I have to do to my job. I hate to read, my wife is the reader. And I come here to converse with the regs and the new regs that have some substance when they post.
I am trying absorb as much now about Blu Ray, so if I decide to make the jump I will know what I am doing.
As for age, well to me it is only a number, and I will be 43 on March 18, but it is more frustrating than anything else. But I am willing to accept defeat and move on, so I can continue to enjoy my movies.
Thanks again Chem.

Just remember chemteam, not every Blu-ray supporter is how you're describing it here. So, I think we could all do away with the generalizations.

I think this site is picking up a lot from AVS after they banned "rumors". We now get the privilege of reading all of these tabloid headings.
