I would like to know from all the Blu Ray fans out there, which Blu Ray player do you have at home?

Ps3.
I bought it for a game system and have gotten more use out of the blu ray capabilities. Not that ps3 doesnt have its fair share of good titles. They just werent out yet when I purchased mine heh.
At some point I will be buying a 2nd ps3 just to watch movies on. Especially if the rumored $299 ps3 hits the shelves this spring.

Have you had any problems with it playing any of the Blu titles?

I did need an occasional firmware update for my Philips to play certain titles, but I've been able to play most of the movies (roughly 98% of them) I put in it right off that bat. Sony is immensely better at releasing firmware updates then either Philips or Samsung. Unfortunately my Philips was designed by Samsung.

Well whatever shakes out in the carpet, I will defenitly go for a dual player. But I am going to wait until the 2.0 comes out and all the bugs are worked out.

I don't have one yet, but I am leaning towards the Panasonic 1.1 compatible player (I think it's the 30?) because the PlayStation just doesn't float my boat.

See hood I agree with exactly and thats what I wanted to see. How many Blu supporters are using a gaming system to watch their movies. Just think if XBOX would have built an internal HD DVD player, hmmmm wonder what would have happened.

I have thought a few times about buying a stand alone player. But why? The ps3 is the best one at this time. I have never had a title that wouldn't play and the updates are automatic as long as you have wireless.
Blu-ray didnt really feature in my decision to buy the ps3 initially. I saw that as an added bonus and even if blu didnt win out I would still have a game system. So no big loss there if HD had won. It would be like owning movies for the UMD format psp.
I will buy a standalone player when they finalize or complete the format. Until then I am sticking with ps3.
