Retailers bent on blu-ray Kool-aid, are being forced to remove all standard def DVDs...period! If HD-DVD is not in stores then those stores cannot sell DVD since Toshiba heads the DVD Forum.
Seriously, my friend who is a Sony fanboy who never owned Sony products except for the PS2, only purchased the PS3 on condition that I purchased it too, and so he buys it about an hour after I bought it at Gamestop, for well over $700. So then he proceeded to sell it off on eBay unsuccessfully because no one wanted it, and more than that, he didn't.
Now he was stuck with it. So in order to justify his expensive game console, he bought only one other Sony product, the PSP, but has since never purchased an actual Blu-ray disc! That's right, he only rents them and has the gall to call me, who owns both HD-DVD (360) and blu-ray (PS3), a fanboy. LOL
After he receives his $600 tax rebate, he refuses to purchase the more superior Xbox. Typical Sony/BDA fanboy, much?

Stupidest post I've ever seen on this site. I'd rather read one of the trolls articles.

What, you won't admit that you did the same as my fanboy friend?

Dumbest post ever. Dude are you like high or something? Toshiba may be the head of the DVD consortium but it can still be out voted and not other members in their right mind would go along with such an insane plan.

You have got to be kidding me.
As I always ask, where is the proof from a reputable source?

Why would you look for DVDa in the appliance section?
