HD DVD is DEAD, and the original poster is a fruit loop.

IT IS DEAD IN THE EYES OF MAJOR STUDIO'S,MANUFACTURERS, AND CONSUMERS. Can it be made any clearer.
It is dead in the eyes of Major Studios and Manufacturers that took BIG money from $ony to declare it so.
It is only dead in the eyes of the consumers that bought into $ony's HD FUD campaign.
Since Project Hydra has apparently served it's intended purpose and has now been shut down, where will all of the now unemployed Blu Shills find money for their next meal???

GM stopped making Oldsmobile's a few years back because they found it financially advantageous to do so, but you can still buy a used one, or keep driving the one you already own.
Apples and Oranges man, BIGTIME!!! Geez guys, just let it go!

nothing has combusted on either side of the format tussle, but many blu-ray players still can't play "fantastic four 2".

I agree, to what he said. You early adopters to Blu-Ray never tried HD DVD, so how would you know? Apparently Bowfiend says he did, for what a day? Then flipped everything on e-bay. Now that's a pile of garbage...

Thanks OP for clearing that up. Seriously though, can we stop the flame wars. Whats done is done. Sony won, Toshiba lost. Blu ray wins. HD DVD does still exist for those who wish to use it.

That's not really fair, my friend. Personally, I've had my HD A3 since October-ish and have not flipped anything to eBay. Way to generalize based on an assumption.

That all sounds very honkey dorey, but don't you think that every time this VideoCipher guy or wii-lite for that matter start one of these type of threads, that this only adds fuel to the fire? Think about it. Who really has a problem letting go here?

This reminds of SEGA Dreamcast. SEGA got out of the hardware business, but they still make games. But hey if any HD DVD supporters really need some words of wisdom, just look to vortex, he is here for us, he really really cares. Yea, and if my aunt had balls, she would be my uncle to.

There you go InvisibleBiker, now you're showing your true colors. You're as bad as the rest.
Oh BTW, I never said I was here for you or that I care about HD DVD's demise. But like I said when I first joined this site: It was so one side with HD supporters that there just had to be an opposing viewpoint, someone who'd be willing to stand up for Blu-ray and all that it represents. So, that would be me. Oh, and I wouldn't be surprised if your aunt did have balls. LOL
