You just do, what is there to explain you just do. The whole LG thing you spun the other way. Like I was looking at it as a sign of some positive news in a day that was filled with negativness. And you spin this thing about LG is garbage and don't waste your money. I was just happy that are going to stay in the HD DVD dual player game. Like I said I am hoping they can develop a player that works.

Nerds - Settle down! You all really sound pathetic on this forum. Blu ray won and HD DVD is still a good format to watch movies on if you have them. Can't you guys just enjoy your damn movies? If you're looking to watch new releases go buy a PS3 or wait till a Blu Ray 2.0 player comes out. If you're looking for a gaming console buy a Xbox 360. This crap isn't that hard to figure out. Seriously look at how foolish you are making yourselves look! It's a stupid format war. Sony did the smart thing and with the help of the BDA they bought the business. No matter what any Red fanboy says will NOT change that. FYI - I only have HD DVD and realize I'll hae to buy a Blu Ray player at some point if I want to watch new releases in HD.

If you notice the majority of the serious / posters who have valid things to say on this forum haven't posted a thing all day. Henning has spent all day cleaning up stupid ass posts.
Do your self a favor and unless you have something to talk about other than Blu or Red BS. Just don't post anything at all. The Blu nerds are just throwing salt in the wound while the Red nerds just keep cutting themselves and asking for more salt!

See ya NERDS!

Well put swan.

One thing I think Toshiba is dropping the ball...why not go the bluetooth and really push hd-dvd as a storage format?

I am far from being a nerd or a geek, I tryed to post something I thought was important, and I got dry gulched. But I will try not to flame anybody in here anymore. I am just glad to hear in a few other threads that the HD DVD movies will still be produced. And that is a BIG Amen to that.

Only problem now is that Blue Ray is the only remaining HD in the market. Sony will F*** everyone over by raising prices, and making cheap players like there PS3 that cost more then a standard DVD player. Which everyone complains about at sony forum stating there having problems with the blue ray player on there PS3. So it might be over, but in return the consumer gets screwed harder. I am staying away from Blue Ray for awhile too see what happens.

I'm waiting for a $200 fully loaded profile 2.0 player, then I will buy Blu-Ray. I want audio decoders on board.
