These are the main differences
1) BBC is uncut, while the DC version is cut for commercial breaks (about 10 minutes shorter per episoede)
2) Different narrators (a Brit on the BBC and an American voice on the DC one)
3) BBC version is 1080p and the DC version 1080i

Well, it's certainly a better value than the top selling DVD version selling for $30 more. I like Weaver's voice, and having both versions also gives me a chance to compare their narrations and which scenes were cut. Also I am curious as to how noticeable the PQ is given one is 1080i and the other 1080p.
