DVDTalk has Fire Sale Thread

I Googled HD DVD fire sale to see what would pop up. I found a site, DVDTalk.com and they started a thread that asks people to post information on HD DVD movie sales. Just thought I would pass this on to all you good HD DVD supporters.

Yes, please share any fire sales for those discs. I'm ready to buy a bunch while I still can.

Deepdiscount.com still has a sale going for many at $12.20 a piece.

I ordered 6 12 buckers from deepdiscount early last week. They are all backordered til the beginning of March.

And you're sure that the backorderes will be fulfilled??

They are. I got the shipping confirm late this afternoon.

4 of the 6 I have ordered have shipped. 3 last week and 1 today, so it seems like they are still replenishing their supplies.

mvckalel, I ordered some from deepdiscount.com and noticed they said "out of stock" so I called. The lady I talked to there said that if it says "out of stock" it just means that..there aren't any in stock and they wil be shipped to you once they get in stock. However if it says "discontinued" then you won't get them at all. Why they would have any on the site that are discontinued is beyond me.
So if your order is just out of stock, don't owrry they will still come. I too am waiting for 2 movies to be resticked so I can get them. I got Shaun of the Dead and Dawn of the Dead...hehehe
