I have to agree with most of what Jason said in his review. I'd give it a 4/10, maybe a 5/10, too.

I saw the trailer for this picture probably a half a dozen times in the months leading up to the picture's release, and it looked like it might be a decent enough thriller, given the cast. However, it turns out the trailer was pretty much the best part of the show. It gave away such a significant plot element that after seeing it, all the goofy flashbacks and replays in the film made no difference to the outcome of the story.

I didn't mind that the movie had no character development. I wouldn't expect much of that kind of thing in an action thriller, anyway. My objections were that (1) the replays didn't really affect the plot or reveal much of anything we didn't already know, so I found them more or less a gimmick rather than a genuine way to advance the story and (2) the movie was too brief. Once it got past the replays, the story is just one long chase to the finish, and the finish came too quickly. What is it, only about ninety minutes long, with ten minutes of that taken up in opening titles and closing credits?

John,

What, you wanted it to be longer?
