Braveheart Director's Cut/ Expanded Edition?

Does anyone here know when (or if) there will be a release of a "Braveheart" Director's Cut/ Exanded Edition? When it is shown on television here in the USA, many of the battle scenes are heavily edited, but I noticed a few expanded scenes that do not appear on either the original release DVD, or the 2007 "Special Edition". Thanks.

I haven't heard a thing, but if there is an expanded edition, and beign part Scottish, I want it! Nevertheless, I think an expanded edition will need to meet the approval of the Scottish Council, and trust me that's a stuborn crowd to please.

Just bring Haggis and some Islay or Highland single malt Scotch.

That is one movie I want in HD and its sad it didnt get released with the newer Special Edition DVD. bu or HD-DVD doesnt matter. That movie ranks as one of my favorites and I eagerly await its release on HD.
