It has been almost 10 weeks since I sent in my HD DVD 5 disc rebate form, and still no answer.
No mention of the offer being discontinued either.
I called last week and was told that the offer is still good.....
I need to make another phone call to check the status.
Today, Feb 28 2008, is the final purchase date eligible for the 5 free HD DVD discs, along with 300 and the Bourne Identity boxed with the player, or the XBOX 360 add-on with King Kong..
If the offer still stands, anyone should take it at its full worth.
Along with my kids P$3, I am waiting for my 5 FREE Blu Ray movies as well, although I have already experienced TWO P$3 FAILURES since Christmas, and the P$3 is back out for repair again.
If and when I actually get the 5 Free Blu Discs, I won't be able to watch them until they return the P$3 back in 2-3 weeks.
No matter the format or the manufacturer, I urge everyone to take up on the special offers while they are still available.

Does anyone know if the HD DVD promotion is still being honored? If so, I'll make the trek today to see if I can find an XBOX add on.

I called their 1-800-405-7520 listed on the rebate form last week and they said that the offer was still good on purchase of qualifying hardware through 2/28/08, and the rebate needed to be postmarked by 3/31/08.

I would still call and check with them before you buy anything, but I believe the King Kong movie is still bundled with the XBOX 360 add-on, as well as it being eligible for the 5 free HD DVD's.
