I don't know how long its been like that, but I just noticed that the main video intro was removed from thelookandsoundofperfect.com and replaced with a "Special Announcement". Basically (IMO) Toshiba's suicide note.

Oh well, I guess this makes the defeat seem more real. But as long as my three HD-DVD players work and somebody out there makes a HD-DVD player (we're looking at you LG, Samsung, and Venturer), HD-DVD will live in my living room providing my guests, family, and myself with countless hours of fun and entertainment in full high defenition the way it was meant to be. As the real "look and sound of perfect".

LONG LIVE HD-DVD!!!

(LOL, was that sad or what? )

I noticed that on their site too Wii. I have a xbox add on drive and two HD-A30s so I will be enjoying HD DVD for some time to come as well. I have a bunch of movies ordered for cheap too from amazon and deepdiscount.

There will always be players on sale on eBay...I don't think we should worry...oh, and I saw the HD-A3 on sale for $99.99 on BB, but they didn't have any...

My collection has grown exponentially (not really but it feels that way, he he ) since the WB announcement in January (I had only 18 movies at the time). After the shock-and-awe passed, I went crazy buying movies, and now with Hollywood Video $10 movie clearance I've bought over 20 HD-DVD's in the last week and a half. My HD-DVD collection now has 55 movies (although I'm only showing 51 on my profile, IDK why) and I have coming in the mail the Ocean's Trilogy ($35 at Amazon) and Planet Earth from Discovery.

Call me a fool but I love my HD-DVD.

Its too bad the sudden surge HD DVD hardware and software sales are falling upon deaf ears. I see a lot of HD DVD supporters with as many as 3 HD DVD players in their homes.

so how many people exactly own 3 players of the same type? Must be why Toshiba stayed in business in HDDVD as long as it did, and why the movies couldn't sell. Applause for market confusion

I have an A-30, A-35, and an XBOX 360 add-on for my PC. My first player was an XA2 but it was defective an had to returned it to Costco. By the time it broke on me and I returned it Costco was out of the model.

Well I'm a dual format owner but have always preferred hd dvd. I own an hd dvd add-on, and recently picked up two HD-A3s. I expect to be enjoying my hd dvds for a long time to come. I have a feeling hd dvd imports will be around for some time, especially if CH DVD becomes an acceptable media.
