Wow, Hendrix, what a COMPREHENSIVE site you found, shame they didnt even mention who these ten (yes all TEN of them) "self confessed audiophiles" where. Also a huge shame i was refering to visual info being sent (component) and not transfering anything to do with audio. You are the same as Skydork. cant read but quick to respond!!!! I love how these Hd-dud fan boys are so quick to mouth off. As I stated before you guys need to get off your high horses and get with the program. If you guys weren't such cheap skates then maybe you would know what me and the others already know. While blu-ray's library will double this year hd-duds will only grow until may or even april if warner gets smart and drops this worthless crap format. You can call me a fan boy all you want but i get to see new titles and you only get to see titles that were once exclusive but will be on blu-ray sooner or later.

Awesome call falcon, i feel they are trying to prove something still (wont rub off on us) so it must be each other blue tools that still need convincing. Im outta here, if i stay on this forum any loger my IQ will drop that low i may rush down to the local HI-FI store and buy a blue gay player. Peace out. I don't know what is worse: Euro-trash or Hd-dud fan boys. I guess when your both you really got nothing else to do but self loath on the internet and its not like you guys can talk about upcoming hd-duds since there are only what? 3 or 4 left to come out? Oh well sucks to be you.

Yugh, I don't consider myself cheap. I will not buy cheap if it is not a quality product. I've only owned name brand electronics (minus one Apex portable). No, my purchase decision was not flawed or 'cheap'. What the hell is wrong with getting a great deal? So just because you paid more for something, it is better? Maybe you should just give fast food restaurants $10 for a burger combo since you seem to like to pay extra for essentially the same product. How about gasoline? Want to pay more for that too? Tell me, did you actually buy a BR player to watch HD movies, or did you buy a PS3 and just stumble upon BR by luck?

Hd-dud has always had a nice ring to it, but so does PoS3.

Here is the important news bit for ya: Blu-ray won. Just remember that. Which means that I will enjoy watching my wonderful Blu-rays for many years to come, while you can look forward to upconverting your huge DVD library in that same time span. Have fun with that.

How big is your screen that you can make that claim? I watch DVDs upconverted at 1080p through a 1080p projector at 120" and high quality DVD transfers look great. Of course HD looks better, but DVD doesn't look crappy if you have good equipment.

My screen is 106" and I do have good equipment to watch movies with. Also, saying that upconverted DVD's look great on a 120" screen is pure hypocrisy on your part. It does not compare to true high definitions source material.

Another thing, I am very calm and have been since I've joined this forum. It's your friends and yourself that need to grow up with all the name calling. The moment someone says something pro Blu-ray they're called idiot fanboys or something else along those lines. Once again, it is you who have blinders own because you obviously haven't read the posts, or if you did you obviously picked out my responses to attacks. Do me a favor and don't preach to me about forum rules. Most of you break them day after day because you cannot carry on an intelligent discussion for an extended period of time. I'm wodering if you read the dozen or so posts by toshibaman in this thread alone. He can't even start a sentence without insulting someone he disagrees with. Why don't you call him out on that? I know why, because you're a pure hypocrite that's why. Practice what you preach bud.
