I don't know if this is true or not but I noticed this post on amazon.com...
Just a heads up.
The Virgin Megastore (all US locations) will be selling off all remaining HD-DVD stock at 50% off starting March 4th. The sale will go on until the end of April or whenever stock runs out.
The HD-DVD Xbox 360 Add-on was also marked down this week to $49.99.

Oh no worries. I agree, the prices can be outrageous and I'm the product supervisor at one of the stores! Half the time I get a better price on stuff through Amazon than I would with my employee discount (which is really sad). I just know a handfull of the HD-DVD titles in the store will end up below $10 after the half-off sale starts so those should be worth a look.

I work at one of the stores and yes this is def true.. I'm gonna pick up a few cheap titles to hold me over until I can afford a panasonic profile 2.0 blu-ray player.
