Turns out Metal Gear Solid 4 is going to use every bit of the 50 gig of space that Blu-Ray offers, they won't be able to put the Japanese voiceovers for US and Europe releases. This is either going to be the most incredible game or something is wrong. It just amazes me that if Blu-Ray is the biggest thing going we have already found a product that breaks its capacity.

yeah it reached the 50 gb max but they said they would be able to put it on one disc. I would hate to see how long this game would take to install! toke 30 min for my friends devil may cry but mgs4 should be game of the year!

I don't believe anyone has actually said what disc they are using... if it's the 25 Gig BRD or the 50 Gig BRD.

I'm going to assume 50.

They must have a helluva lot of textures and Im guessing they did not compress a whole lot since they had a lot of storage capacity to work with. They could easily make it fit on a 25gb blu ray disc. Probably a DL DVD as well.

From what I understand Killzone 2 will have 2 BR disks as well.
