I dunno man... some places are still tossing adverts for it. I got a mailer from Hastings yesterday saying "Own Bee Movie on DVD and HD-DVD on March 11th!" So.. we'll see Tuesday.

CC,Best Buy, Sears and even K Mart who actually had an add for HD DVD in their Sunday circular, did not show it. So I would have to agree with MovieLover, it seems they did cancel it. What a shame, I said this before, Paramount and Universal who were HD DVD exclusive are pulling the plug before Warner Brothers.

Your best bet might be Future Shop if your in Canada, I picked up "Things we lost in the fire" and "The Brave One" BB didn't even have Things we lost in the fire in HD.

It's certainly possible that -maybe- some people might secure a copy (insiders who have a few and auction on eBay?) - as I read that a few lucky people DID acquire the JACK RYAN COLLECTION on HD-DVD last year when it was briefly released (before being recalled because of the lack of special features advertised on the disc/package). Still... it will be super-rare if you'll be able to find a copy of the BEE movie on HD-DVD anywhere at retail. Even if somewhere lists one on eBay, better be sure it's authentic and not a bootleg/scam.

If you find Bee Movie in some retail store, I'd buy it immediately. It's going to be rare.
I think the worst is these discs were already pressed. Not releasing them is just stupid but oh well.

Love,
Paramount sent out the "Jack Ryan Collection" for review (and preview to stores) before they decided to pull it. They asked that it not be reviewed, so some reviewers and store owners may have sold their copies, which a person might now find at various places.
The Paramount rep told me a few weeks ago that "Things We Lost" and "Into the Wild" would be Paramount's final HD DVD releases, that they were sending out no review copies, and that only select stores and outlets would even stock them. So those final two titles may be hard to find.

ummmm..... future shop is advertising both versions in their flyers and amazon has still got my order on file and has full intentions of releasing bee movie on HD DVD. I think this was a mistaken rumour that has snowballed. Look at the source and go to Dreamworks website and it is still advertised to be on HD DVD.

It's definitely canceled. Future Shop doesn't list the title on their website, and neither does Amazon.com anymore.
