That's a good point. I'm no audio expert, but I am kinda under the impression that this won't make a huge difference to the average consumer who either uses the built-in speakers on their TV or a mid-level HTIAB set. I could be way off though. I do know that the average consumer doesn't care about audio as much as the audiophiles do. They're happy just as long as it sounds good, and it will with 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound. Although, I do believe New Medium Enterprises, did promise that HD audio would come in the future.
