I was looking at the HD DVD titles on line at Best Buy. And there were a slew of titles at $10.49 but most of the titles are already sold out on line. I was wondering if they have these titles in store? Hmmm maybe if I got off my ass and ventured out to the store than I would know LOL.
Also, you will only be able to order I am Legend HD DVD on line only, at least thats what the web site said.

the "i am legend" hd dvd has less extras than the blu-ray. fans should probably wait until they buy blu or until warner releases a super deluxe sd dvd.

IB, being the HD DVD fanboy that I am, really, the blu-ray version has a frew more extras...unlike the special edition SD with only the extra being the 'extended' edition, which has an ending that sucks (no, really, IMO, it's bad) and the comics (!)...either wait for a nice spec.ed. on SD, buy the single disc edition (if you don't care about the extended version), or buy the blu-ray (can't belive I'm saying this,
).

"...hd dvd has less extras than the blu-ray." --Eddie
And then there are those of us who praise heaven when there are fewer extras on a disc.
I can't believe my good friend Eddie is actually caught up in this "more is better" nonsense. I buy and watch movies, not extras that I'll never watch once, let alone again.
(BTW, I only posted this message to start another war: instead of Blu vs. red, p vs. i, LCD vs. plasma, DTS-MA vs. TrueHD, this viewing distance vs. that viewing distance, I figured I'd get things going with extras vs. non extras. Go to it, guys.

John... I already told you before that I like certain extras - alternate opening/endings, deleted scenes, outtakes, music videos, and the occasional commentary track.
Also bonus true-life documentaries, such as those seen on the HD-DVDs of Forbidden Planet, Breach, Casablanca and others.
