I recently purchased a Sony BDP S301 Blu Ray Player and I am experiencing a problem which I am hoping someone out there can help me solve.
I was watching a Blu Ray movie and about 1 hour in the film the machine just stopped...the footage or time counter stopped and a sign flashed on my Plasma screen "no signal". I turned the machine off, rebooted it and turned it on. The movie started with no problems. About 45 minutes later the same event occured....same symptoms...same reboot...the movie started and played ok.
I have had players to freeze up on me before....you could see the freeze frame on the screen. Not this time, nothing..no picture. I thought it might be a Blu Ray Disc problem so I played a SD DVD movie and the same thing happened with that disc.
Any help would be appreciated.
