Granted, this is silly, but do you serve any purpose on these boards, other than to dismiss the opinions of anyone who disagrees with you, Jono?

Dude, even I that still fully supports HD-DVD and can't stand Sony as a company think that this idea is ludicrous. NOBODY forced me to buy HD-DVD over BD we didn't sign a contract with the HD-DVD forum promising everlasting support and that the format was going to win. We took a chance by choosing HD-DVD and lost.

I'll defend HD-DVD all the way over BD, but I won't deny that HD-DVD lost. Just take it like a man, buy as many HD-DVD's as you want, and enjoy the format as long as your HD-DVD's will work. And if you are so disgruntled with the studios then stop buying their products but don't say you wanna suit. There is simply no legal basis for that. Sorry.

Tim, that is hilarious. Thank you, sir!

Ya know...we're all so quick to sue and threaten each other. What about a little personal accountability? Is that too much to ask? As has already been stated, no one was forced to buy HD DVD. You had a choice. Just like we have a choice about what to eat, how to act, what to believe, etc. The sooner we start going back to personal responsibility, the better off we'll all be.

aimhigh2k2... please don't sue just yet. The studios are still tied up in litigation with my lawsuit against them from several years ago for abandoning the LaserDisc format in 1999 (despite supporting it for 20 years) - plus my side suit against Sony in 2006 for abandoning SuperBit DVD releases. [that lame Sony!]

But you can sue them later, once my lawsuits are settled!!!!

I'm still suing George Lucas for a refund for Episode 1 The Phantom Menace. I want my 8 bucks back.

Shoot, I want the original ticket price back AND the money I spent on the VHS AND the money I spent on the DVD AND the money for the action figures...
