There is probably already a thread about this, but I couldn't find it. I was wondering how long people had to wait to get their 5 free movies after buying an HD DVD player. I am now at 10 weeks. Are Canadians waiting longer?

No, I have been waiting for over 12 weeks. I noticed the other day that they cashed my cheque! So I may only be another two or three weeks...

I called them a few weeks ago and they told me it is 8-10 weeks from the time they receive your request and get you in the system. If you call them they can tell you when your request was entered and then you go from that date. The number is on the 5 free request form.
You may have already known this but I have been wondering all of this myself. I called and they told me 8-10 weeks from 11 Jan. I mailed it to them way before that though.

I am waiting for my 5 Free HD DVD's and 5 Free Blu Ray disc's since early January.
It seems both of the "5 Free" deals are running at the same slow pace, sounds like a good time to call and find out how far along the process is for both offers.
