Even though HD-DVD lost and a lot of us HD-DVD supporters don't have any plans of buying a Blu-ray player, I do admit that there would be some movies that (if they make it to Blu-ray) I would buy in a heart beat even if I don't have a Blu-ray player because after all, I'm a movie buff. See here are some of the movies I'd buy in Blu-ray just because I love them:

Star Wars Saga
Indiana Jones Saga
Star Trek Movies (All XI)
The Lord of The Rings Trilogy
All 22 James Bond Movies
Tron
Titanic
Ben-Hur (1959)
Jurassic Park Trilogy
E.T (idk if already out on BD or not)
Schindler's List
The last 2 Harry Potter Films
Dark Kight

That's all I can think of so far.

How about the rest of you? (come on hard core HD-DVD supporters, you gotta admit you have the sinfull pleasure of buying your favorite films in BD that never made it to HD-DVD ).

Dark Knight
Toy Story 1+2
The Incredibles
basically all the Pixar Movies
Star Wars Saga
The James Bond Movies I like (Goldeneye)
Lord of the Rings Extended Editions

I'd really love for older catalog titles get the Bladerunner treatment but that seems unlikely for a little while. I think we're going to see mostly newer movies with a few old catalog titles, that sell well for now.

All the Pixar movies for sure.

Star Wars saga
Some Star Trek, maybe all, not sure
Lord of the Rings trilogy...MAYBE
Dark Knight
Last 2 Harry Potter films also
Cloverfield
Star Wars animated movie comin to theatres this August I believe
Some concerts

I'm sure I've missed a lot but these are off the top of my head. There are a lot of movies that I don't need to have in hidef as I'm quite happy with the DVD version.

A 1925 silent version by MGM which was the first long reel version. It had one of the biggest budgets of its time. There was also a short 15 minute long film in 1907.

-VHS Phantom Menace
-VHS Phantom Menace Collector's Ed. with Original Film Strip.
-Video CD Version of Special Ed. Trilogy (Hong Kong)

Make that the last 3 Harry Potter Films, they are splitting the last book into 2 separate movies, to be released 6 months apart.

Just something to make you buy another disc....
