Wow you people are uptight. It was only my opinion, and if you want to fully understand it, read the comics or watch the cartoon. If you're going to watch it and say you didnt understand any of it, then read the goddamn comics. X2 is a lot better than X-Men, I cant understand how this guy thought it was the same. Bottom line is if you dont understand the movie, dont even review it. Better yet, if you havent read comics, just enjoy the movie for what it is.

Well, I've never read the comics and I thought X2 was the best film I've seen so far this year (well, Finding Nemo might be AS good), and I see a LOT of movies.
Go ahead...flame on.

KP, I liked "X2" quite a lot, too, though I fail to see why Tim's dis-like of the movie could give Predator cause to be so close-minded about watching the movie. The thing is, if someone is confused by a movie, then the movie has failed in relating its story, plain and simple. Sure, knowing something about a film's source (such as a novel, a comic book, or even another movie) will enhance your enjoyment of the flick in question, but it shouldn't be required knowledge. As Justin wrote: going by your reasoning, if only people who read comic books can write reviews about movies based on comic books, then only war veterans can review war movies, only priests who fight the devil can review movies like "The Exorcist", etc. If movies were made for such limited audiences, then who would care about movies in the first place???
Predator, the only "uptight" one here is you as evidenced by your use of profanities. Besides, one needs to look no further than your comments about "Mulholland Drive" to see what kind of person you are in real life.

What the hell are you talking about? What comments did I make about Mulholland Drive? I never even posted one thing about it on this website. You're just an elitest asshole, I was saying that if you havent read the comics, you wouldnt understand it as well. And I dont know if I also said that you should just enjoy the movie for what it is. If you need to constantly review every movie you see, thats not a way to watch movies. My opinon.
