No, this is not another bashing thread... it's just a free gift for Tim!

Ok, besides Tim responding to the thread by posting a pic of that PS3 "BBQ grill", I don't understand the relation betaween the thread's title and the first post.

Wii,

Veteran is just teasing me because I made a sarcastic rant in another thread about too many topics on the PS3/Sony.

THAT is a funny pic, Tim!

Do you have one like it for those early XBOX 360 consoles???

I have a friend who owns all three of the new gaming consoles (360, PS3 & Wii), and he did temperature tests of all the consoles under different modes of operation (running with disc loaded, running with no disc loaded, stand-by, etc.)... and the Nintendo Wii actually registered MORE heat when it was NOT running (powered-off, but plugged in)! Go figure?!!

That Wii-toaster picture is accurate - even when the unit is switched off!

Ok, that's a little odd. You might want to tell your friend to have it checked out because it could be some weird electronic issue. I know my Wii is cold as an ice-box when it's turned off -- meaning it hasn't been played for several hours.
