Rent as many DVD's as you want (3 at-a-time) for 2 weeks and then cancel if you want or keep it for $24.95 a month.

For those without an HD-DVD player, Eastern Promises is also available in hi-def on Blu-ray - UK edition - and unfortunately this one (from FOX) is indeed region-locked for playback only by Region B players (UK, Asia). Currently, there is no Japanese Blu-ray edition currently available to my knowledge.
