National Treasure 1 & 2 Blu-ray Deal at Amazon

Just did my pre-order thru the DVDTOWN/Amazon link deal! - Thanks...

I'm picking these up for a local friend, and he's swapping the "5 free discs" BD promotional discs (I chose the movies) in exchange for the 2 NT films. I've been waiting to pre-order these NT movies, hoping for a promo deal (like last years Pirates 2-film deal), so thanks to Amazon and DVDTOWN for the offer.

(and I'll get free 'rentals' on these NT films after my friend watches them first, of course). I thought the first film was kind of goofy, but 'OK, so I hope the 2nd in the series is better.

I wouldn't say it's a deal for any price.

For what it's worth, I very much enjoyed the second one without seeing the first. It was fun, well put together and completely inoffensive. Great cast having fun...gets my recommendation.

I figured it was newsworthy since they are $29.99 each at DVD Empire. -)

Bollocks, I can't see any B/M offering them both for less in a couple weeks. Pre-ordered both. Worst case scenario is the order gets canceled before they street.
