Just got a 60 gig replacement today all is well. Depending on what PS3 you own dictates how long you'll have to wait. Mine was 2 weeks to the day.

It came with v2.2, but I could'nt get my user profiles on the new one until I updated to v2.3. Needless to say I was very apprehensive about the whole process. I turned everything off in the room along with every computer connected to my network.

EDIT: It runs very quiet, much more silent than my last unit.
