Meh. If you wait you can get it for closer to $400. Saw it as low as $419 a couple of weeks ago. Just keep your eye on it.

I got a sales flyer to day from Micro Center (a couple of dozen stores in select states), and they have a supply of this unit for $499 currently - SITE LISTING.

this price sucks, i was gonna use my amazon gift of 100, but the price still sucks.

i chose to buy like 5 movies instead. payed .88 cents. lol

A couple of months ago the BD30 was on sale for $425. That's crazy now that it's the most recommended SA player that the price has gone up.

Found a couple of open box units at my circuit city for $385. Still a bit pricey but not too bad all things considered.
