I'm curious how posting a fact can be construed as being biased.

It just seemed like a stretch, taking samples of samples. Like some are looking to confirm their choice.
I dunno how HD DVD came into the conversation.

You may want to think about the LG BH200 Combo player as there was a firmware update for it within the past week as it fixes BD 1.1 compatibility, fixes audio and video dropout issues, you can now select 1080P/24 output, and also add TrueHD 7.1 Native decoding - as well as Bitstream output of TrueHD and DTS MA.

Huh?
1. I find it great that high-def media seems to be taking off because I prefer my movies in 1080p rather than 480i. The fact that sales just in the last 11 weeks have matched half the entire sales of Blu-ray since it's introduction up to the beginning of this year is rather news worthy, I would say.
2. I selected both formats. That way I would be certain I'd pick a losing.. oops! I mean winning format. In reality I picked both formats (HD DVD first 15 months ago, Blu-ray almost 9 months ago) because of what I said in #1: I prefer my movies in 1080p rather than 480i.
