Just a note to all of LOTR fans out there. Next weekend April 4,5 and 6, TNTHD will show all 3 movies starting at 8PM eastern time in all it's glorious HD. Thats if you have HD programing available to you. I don't know if this is the first time they showed the movies in HD, but it should look amazing. And they are showing only limited commerials and the movies have not been edited at all. So belly up to your HDTV next weekend and enjoy.

eh... I'd almost rather take my chances with HD VMD, LOTR's only HD format, for the time being. Almost...

Well at least you can see on TNTHD what it looks like. TNT's transfer of HD DVD movies is pretty good. At least what I have watched on TNT.
