The Assassination of Jessee James trailers are good examples of things being shot in a way that seems to give a story that isn't really in the movie itself...

Sometimes the trailers are better than the movie! "The prequels" come to mind. But yeah, I do agree, sometimes they do go too far. I've also noticed that movies with "lame" trailers tend to be better than the ones with "great" trailers. For example. "Ironman" didnt look all that great to me by the trailer...and I've only heard great things about it. Let's hope that this holds true for Indy 4 as well...cause i'm a little worried.

Just viewed a 1-minute trailer (commercial) during the Utah vs L.A. basketball playoff game on TNT-HD.... looks like a DOG (unfunny). However, that new Adam Sandler comedy looks interesting.
