Hello,

I am looking to purchase a sub $600 5.1 speaker package for my bedroom (12' X 10') and need some suggestions. I need to restrict the speaker size to 7"H X 5"W X 5"D. So far, I was able to narrow down the choices to:

1. Energy Take Classic 5.1 which is $600 and received good reviews at couple of places. But have not found any user reviews. Any first hand experience on using these?

2. Polk RM6880 5.1 package can be found on sale for under $500.

3. Or, I can get the Polk RM10 5 speaker set (same as Polk 6880 without subwoofer) for under $300 and add a good 8" or 10" subwoofer.

Any suggestions on which one to go for, or some other sets I can consider that are better at this price range.

Subwoofer: If I go for #3, any recommendations for under $250 subwoofers. I am looking at x-sub from av123, Klipsch KSW12, Velodyne VX-10 ($170), HSU ST1, and Fluance DB-150. How are the subwoofers from JBL, Polk, or Infinity that go for under $250?

Thank you very much for your inputs.
