Here are some of my favorite comedy moments in movie history. By no means am I talking about Best Comedies, I'm only talking about a funny scene or moment that stands out. There’s no order to it because I really don’t care for top-10 lists, I just wanted to share. So, everyone, pitch in with some of your favorites:

When Harry Met Sally
The fake orgasm scene is by far one of the classics in comedy. Granted, the film is a remarkable romantic-comedy, but the scene alone rivals most comedies made today.
OLD LADY: "I'll have what she's having"

The Pink Panther
In particular, the ending scene where we see an old man in a quiet village set a chair outside his home to watch an inevitable car-crash in the making. The scene still makes me chuckle to this day!

Dr. Strangelove
There are many scenes with Peter Sellers that are classic, but watching Slim Pickens ride that nuke is tops!

Austin Powers: Goldmember
The opening scene is bar far worth the price of admission. Granted, the film overall ended up being a rehash of old Myers jokes and didn’t offer a lot of new material. However, the opening scene probably holds record for more star-cameo appearances and is a total belly-buster every time!

The Nutty Professor
The scene at the family dinner table made Eddie more worthy of an Academy Award more that any film he’s done. The entire scene is gut-busting classic and one of Eddie’s best scenes in movie history.

Blazing Saddles
Of course, the campfire scene with beans as the musical fruit. Mel Brooks claims it’s the first time farting had ever been done on film – I wouldn’t know enough to argue with him but I’ll take his word for it.
SIDEHAND: "Want some beans Mr. Taggart?”
MR. TAGGART: "I’d say you’ve had enough!”

Bar none my favorite comedy is....

Plains, Trains and Automobiles
The late great John Candy with Steve Martin made one of the best comedy duos of all time. The movie had so many great parts to it, but I loved when Steve Martin tried to get a car rental from the fat lady at the airport after trudging through the snow for an hour.
