Saying as I just placed an order with them I hope so (Elizabeth and Pride & Prejudice HD DVD's because I know they won't be showing up at any of the used stores I frequent,).

Figured others on the boards here have ordered from them before and was curious as to your experiences with them.

The opinions I have read on other online opinion forums have been a bit unsettling, but usually only those with problems bother to post opinions anyway.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Great prices, but they take a while to ship sometimes. ABout the only complaint I could have on them.

I have bought tons of SD DVDs and HD DVDs from them and they have been great. They do take their sweet time for shipping though. I found that many discs have taken 10-12 days from the day they say they shipped to arrival at my mailbox. Time doesn't matter to me though when you consider how cheaply they sell them and the free shipping.

A few months back, I ordered several discounted HD DVDs from them using a couple of AT&T Rebate Debit cards. At first, everything was ok, but after waiting over 2 weeks to get my stuff I checked my account online and found that they were all backordered. I had not been informed of that prior to my checking.

A short time after that, I received a single disk shipment, well kinda, the dvd case was opened, no shrink wrap, and the disk was missing. I called customer service and they promptly e mailed me a post paid return label. A week or so later, I got an email from them informing me that the card was declined for the reshipping. I got so irritated at that point that I canceled the other remaining orders.

In all fairness to them, other then the missing disk, the card was probably coded in such a way that their system would not recognize it, but it did work everywhere else I used it. I doubt that I will do business with them in the future.

I have ordered about 6 movies from them so far and have had no problems what so ever. If the movie is back ordered, it will ship as soon as it comes in. I waited for Lucky Number Slevin for about a week and then it shipped and 6 days later (business days) it's here. All shrink wrapped and in perfect condition. When I bought my first disc from them as a test, I bought The Rundown, the movie was loose in the case. I inspected it first and then played it and it working normally. I also emailed them and told them about it. They replied, thanked me for the email and said they will do their best to fix any problems in the future. Since then...ALL HAVE BEEN GREAT!!!

Other than the fact that a lot of things tend to be backordered or delayed, I've never had a problem. If you're not in a rush, it's a great site to order from.

Purchased three times during this and the last year, totaling $150+, no problem so far...yes, the shipping takes a while, but I assume that it's because it's free...never had any problems with my card or shipment, would recommend the store...

They've been my go to guys for years, and I never had a problem with them. Over the last year, however, their selection as well as their on-site information has declines quite a bit. Sometimes it's hard to figure out if you're ordering the right DVD because they provide so little data. But as far as ordering the only problem I ever had with them was when I got stuck with two copies of 4 different discs which happened because I back-clicked once while ordering. My fault, I suppose, but be careful to check the totals in the number of copies box before finalizing your order.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm now a bit more at ease with my order. And, thankfully, am not in too much of a hurry to receive the discs (SD versions will hold me over till they arrive). If I can still find this thread by the time I get them I'll post how the experience went just so there is a recent account of their current state of customer service.
