VHS is complete garbage, and any of you that actually use the format on anything bigger than a 21" screen should be publicly stoned.

Well boss, unless you have access to the master film stock or the original u-matic video tape and are prepared to release my long forgotten sci fi and stand up comedy routines on SD DVD, my VHS safety copies will remain in my library

Yeah I hear ya. I just can't bring myself to watch that crappy quality anymore...especially on a big screen.

I use my computer as a line-doubler for old VHS proggys to upconvert and tweek them as I record them onto SD-DVD...twice the resolution...then I play these SD-DVDs on my upconverting Samsung player...and get 4 times the resolution
