agreed! Jack Black just doesn't do serious well at all. Didn't like him much in the holiday either, except when he was being a goof at the video store. that suits him fine. but his role in king kong was annoying.

also agree with anikin and padime being the worst of all time. the fireplace scene makes me vomit.

disagree with bill paxton. not my favorite, but he is entertaining to me. then again, the reason i like him is because i thought he was hilarious in weird science. loved his a$$hole big brother character. I was in early teens when that one came out.

I agree, Bill Paxton isn't the greatest actor in the world, but, I do like most of his performances. I thought he did well as "Bill Harding" in "Twister". His role as "Hudson" in "Aliens", was great, and he fit the role well! After all, Paxton may have spawned the most quoted line in Sci-fi movie history... "GAME OVER, MAN, GAME OVER!"

As for bad performances, I'd have to agree on Hayden Christiensen & Natalie Portman, in Episodes II & III. Specifically, the scene where Aniken kills all of the "Sand People", then comes back and WHINES to Amidala about what he did.

Or the part where Amidala falls quite a few stories out of the transport ship, while chasing "Duku", she's knocked out for a few moments, then gets up like she woke up from a nap, helps a storm trooper to his feet, rattles off something like "c'mon, we've got to get back", and runs out of the shot as if nothing happened. Lame.

Come on Josh! You have to be kidding?! The worst thing about Twister was Paxton's lame lead role abilities! His acting is atrocious no matter which way you look at it. My next door neighbor's eight-year old kid could do a better acting job! Hell, I could act circles around the bozo! It really wasn't Helen Hunt’s best film, either, but even she upstaged him for the mediocre role she had. Then again, Twister was merely entertaining only for a pointless CGI extravaganza. lol

Here's a movie coming to home video soon, featuring the actress Eddie doesn't like (see pg 1) - (yeah, she does act pretty bad most of the time, but is still easy on the "eyes" - haha!)

More important, Love, it's in a format that's "Beyond High Definition."

Fort Worth TX-born BILL PAXTON...

Tim may very well not be a fan of Paxton's acting 'work' (hehe), but he's turned in some unique performances, and was GREAT in this early film role...
