I was looking at dvd.co.uk and I saw that they have Cloverfield, and B Movie. Unfortunately neither one ships outside the UK.
UPDATE: When I went this morning to get the pages to link them here, No Country for Old Men had been removed. Sorry.

I saw that disappear off of the site last night...
But they still show the Godfather trilogy for a June release...come on June
BTW - buy with complete security...I have bought a number of their HD DVD special 2 for 12 pound offerings and find their service to Canada fine.

I actually find their service to Canada amazing! I've ordered several items from Second Spin, and after 3 weeks, I'm still waiting for them. I order frequently from Deep Discount, and after lengthy delays in actually having the product available, it usually takes 2 weeks. DVD.CO.UK ships from the UK, and the last time I ordered from them, I had all of my items within 5 days! I ordered some 2 for 12 titles, so now I'll just go ahead and order Cloverfield and see what happens. Some ones to check out - Fearless, Children of Men and Pitch Black are all great transfers, and great movies. PB isn't available in a lot of places now, and Fearless and COM are higher priced here because they are combos. They are not combos in the UK.

I thought hd dvd wasn't region coded. How come on the site it says they are region 2.

So if Cloverfield does appear on HD DVD in the U.K. it will cost $35 U.S. plus shipping??
I'd love to have that movie on HD DVD but not at that price.

The HD DVDs are region free...they are using the copy from the SD-DVD description for the HD DVD descriptions )

I'll just wait for the bluray. Why invest in a dead format? It's gone people...time to move on.

But some people are not in a position to go out and buy a new Blu-ray player at the moment and are happy to be able to support the HD format they currently own

That's coo that these titles are goin on HD even if it's not in the states. I've been waiting for these titles to come out but when Para pull from HD I thought I'd never see it. I agree with R-U Serious and I personally would buy this even though HD is no longer supported here in the states. For me though it's not the fact that Blu Ray is expensive, I just prefer HD over Blu. So even if I had both formats and the same movie came out for both, I'd get the one in HD. Like I said it's just my preference.

If this is true and more hd dvd's are being released overseas, does that mean it's still an active format overseas or are those companies just releasing their final movies for this year and after that hd dvd will be no more over there too?
