Shipping with DVD.CO.UK is 1 pound. Do you actually think the Blu edition will be available for significantly less than $35 when it comes out? I highly doubt it. Maybe 6 months later.

I really would like to get the UK copy of Cloverfield as well on HD DVD.
It seems most "haters" of the HD DVD format don't even own it, and only use PS3's as their Blu-Ray players. I actually own the BDP-s500 and the XA-2, and I still prefer to watch titles on HD, such as Pan's Labrynth, (which the XA-2 can decode the DTS-MA).
Here's to those who just want to watch the movie the best possible way.
