on the surface, what tim did in this thread may seem irritating, but it is an accurate rebuke of what jimi did after we told him how to post images here at dvdtown. as tim once observed, jimi is in the habit of posting "spew salads" here.
jimi, as i've written before, i don't want to tussle with you any more, but please try to follow the words of shakespeare--"brevity is the soul of wit."

Are you done with the pictures, boys??
Now that I've seen both NCFOM and Atonement, and both are different films...I loved the 'plot twist' in Atonement, I loved the cinematography in Atonement, I loved the acting in Atonement, I loved the overall story in Atonement, but I enjoyed NCFOM better. Javier Bardem's portrayal of the bad guy is just astonishing, and blows away all the main actors in Atonement, one by one...
However, I still have to watch There Will Be Blood and Juno (not another teen movie with a pregnant girl, that is SOOOOO 80s...
...why couldn't a former 'exotic girl' write something more
, who knows...)
Obviously, and gratefully, we all have different tastes, which means that there are movies for EVERYBODY...now, really, stop being crybabies (you remind me of Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins, yeah, start the hate mail, but come on, really, that movie makes Batman look like a crybaby...so what Bruce? Clark lost his birth parents, so did Peter (Parker), and yet, they don't keep crying and crying and...oh, you get it, get a life Bruce, get a life!!!)...anyways, so we all have different tastes, Excellent for all of us.
And at least is nice knowing that I'm not the only one that regard TESB as one of the greates movies of all time...
Oh, and I just watched Full Metal Jacket, and the cinematography is just GREAT, the way the movie looks, the framing (which IMO wouldn't have benefited from 1.33:1), is just EXCELLENT...also, I can see why Around the World in 80 Days shouldn't have won the Best Picture award, but damn, the acting from Niven and specially the great Cantinflas is also top notch (regardless of 'politically correct', or how some of you might've felt the Spanish part of the movie is slow or boring, honestly, is because of some of you inability to embrace different cultures...)...

So now Eddie, you too wish to continue (a little longer) this soap opera drama... well, review everything below and let me know if your 'numbers' agree or not.
Eddie advised "brevity is the soul of wit."
> Under this thread (two observations)...
60 = # of Tim's posts
24 = # of Jimi's posts (aka Love Hendrix)
Brevity Winner! - JIMI
Brevity LOSER - Tim
42 = # of Tim's posts (w/movie images)**
12 = # of Jimi's posts (w/movie images)
**3 have 'busted' images (non-viewable)
Brevity Winner! - JIMI
Brevity LOSER - Tim
(both Tim/Jimi's parody images excluded)
Well now... numbers speak volumes, eh?

(above^ Eddie on the left, Tim on right)
And speaking of 'spew salads' (or long posts - which both Tim and Eddie are major fans of mine in the past), Tim said near the bottom of pg 6 - "as if your long winded posts are not bad enough". And then PROVIDES A LONG POST right there following those words, passionately 'defending' his dribble over my negative A.B. opinion.
And now Eddie (Tim's buddy) continues his own soap opera 'genius' with an advisement of "brevity is the soul of wit." So Eddie... it's a change of strategies, yes?
> Another pic of Eddie...

And, in keeping with the 'theme' of movies, here's another bonus 'grindhouse' poster parody for entertainment value (beyond the few entertaining soap opera posts presented here). Enjoy - while you think about Shakespeare (Eddie)...

Just in case readers missed the following - back on pg 11 (before Tim's 5-page 'spew salad' of movie image posts) - here's a beneficial list of great films under the following topic...
FYI........
> The BEST Films That Never Won a Best Picture Oscar - with summary/trivia comments of 15 great movies (including 2001: A Space Odyssey) - a recently prepared list from Feb 18, 2008
