Tim.....Hendrix.....Get it together man!

Jimi Love supports Bush, the term "get it together" is not in his vocabulary.

American Beauty??... Uh, no - definitely NOT "the BEST movie of all time".

Love,

Do you know the meaning of "drop it" or would you like to keep up the childish behavior for another day? It makes no difference to me either way -- just a question?

I guess I can accept your form of an ^apology, Tim.

Love,

I'm NOT appologizing, I'm asking a question. Again, do you want to keep this going for another day or are you able to be a stand up guy and drop it?

Yeah, it figures you won't be a 'stand-up guy' and apologize for unprovoked, antagonistic verbal actions against other opinions about this thread's topic. Plus the usual political attacks (which is irrelevant here). As I said on an earlier page in this thread...

Tim... it's just opinions and fair criticism. How come you enjoy giving critical opinions here (for many years now), but seem to resent when others do the same to something you've said? I respect yours, Eddie's, and others opinions, and would expect the same from yourself about mine, whether we are in agreement or not.

So.... IMO American Beauty did not deserve the Oscar for Best Picture. Just an opinion, OK?

So which should have won then? Let's see, the other contenders for that year were "The Cider House Rules", "The Green Mile", "The Insider", and "The Sixth Sense".

Now, "No Country for Old Men" IMHO shouldn't have won best picture for 2007.

Love,

I don't have a problem with the fact that you don't like the film. In your first post you used "??" which was directed at ME since I'm the only one that mentioned the film -- then you commented that it is NOT the GREATEST film. Is it possible that you could look ever more like the bully in the sandbox trying to make me look like a fool for mentioning the film? IMO, that's how it came across to me and I will not sit idle while you try to make me look like a fool for my choice. You could have easily said you didn't care for the movie and moved on, but you chose to question "??" my choice and then made a comment as though you were the authority on what a GREAT film IS.

According to the above link, and according to its peers in the industry, it would certainly appear that "American Beauty" IS a GREAT film. Therefore, and considering what I feel was a direct insult, I have nothing to appologize for or feel ashamed about. "American Beauty" IS a GREAT film and certianly a worthy mention for this thread. So, considering your school-yard behavoir from the start, it would appear I'm not the one who owes the appology.
