22 of the most underrated films

Despite what the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (i.e., the 6000 industry insiders that dole out Oscar statuettes) would want you to believe, a disproportionate number of the best movies made are ones that are overlooked by the masses and, as such, perform poorly at the box office. Moreover, these films occasionally include major Hollywood talent—even that of the vapid variety. In light of these points, here is my list of the best films you may not have seen by some of the bigger stars in Hollywood:

I was glad to see this list was from Sympatico and not from you because it included one of the most boring movies I've watched in the past decade, "Gerry." Sometimes, movies are not rated highly for a reason.

LOL I've heard of about 3 movies on that list but Out of Sight? Underrated? Not way.

Wow, I love "Gerry."

Can't stand "Kids" though - one of the most obnoxious and pointless movies of the past decade or so.

I agree "Kids" was a teribble movie and should be banned. What kind of entertainment is that? We already have enough problems in the world,we don't need kids watching "Kids".
