Hey,
just got I Am Legend HD DVD in the post, bought it from america, i live in uk. Its a hd dvd / dvd combo. when i put it in my hd dvd player, on the dvd side it says region code isnt compatible
and when i put it in on the hd dvd side it gets lots of multicoloured lines across the screen, can someone help.
I asked if american hd dvds would work on my 360 hd dvd player and they said yes, so whats the problem?

Well there is no regioning on the hd dvd side of the disk so that isn't the problem. There was a recent firmware upgrade for the xbox add on here in the us I would check that

i also get mine from the US (i live in the uk as well) and its works fine in my tosh EP 30. The dvd side will not work cos its a region 1 disc and HD DVD players are not multi region dvd players, fortunatley i have two multi region DVD players as all of the extras are on the dvd side of the disc. I have had no problems with the HD DVD side, i have watched the movie twice.

yea its working now, it took ahwile to load, dunno why but it working fine now. Man i love that film
But, it takes ages to load
