Nice! Buy em then bring out some type of streaming movie service. I wont rent per movie though. I want a monthly fee instead like their online service or netflix's online movie streaming. Also, they gotta make the resolution as good or better than DVD. Then Netflix will have to improve.

What's with all of these electronics stores going out of business? Mediaplay is gone, Ultimate Electronics pulled out here, now Circuit City? The only place left for electronics is going to be Wal*Mart, or a furniture chain here locally!

As sad as it looks, it's the company's fault for hiring such incompetent administrators...you have to realize that it took them YEARS to realize that the way the used to run their stores was making them lose money AND customers...
I read this yesterday, and it sounds very interesting to see how this (if it goes thru) might develop...CC offering to rend a movie that you can return by mail on a self-paid envelope? That sounds good enough for me (oh, btw, my idea

Let's not forget to mention their piss poor inventory, exorbitant prices and incompetently designed website. Have you ever tried to search for something on that thing? Or find anything on sale in the store? Nearly unheard of, unless you get there first thing Sunday morning.
