I watched my super bit version of Fifth Element last night -- looked pretty damn good to me!
Tim if you like that movie, get it on the remastered Blu-ray. I own the super bit version too (and also the original grrrr), and you wont be disappointed. It's sweet!

I agree, that's the one thing I could do without in that movie. I don't know if its worse than Jar Jar, but it's pretty damn close!

Not good enough for the few of us that are Video/Audiophiles. But good enough for the rest of the 98% of the population. For now anyway.

OK I know I have said to many of you that I truely think that upconvert is overated. Well I guess it is becaused I have been SPOILED with HD. I cannot wait for the day, when everything you lay your eyes on is the quality of an HD picture. I truely LOVE HD, so to me upconvert is overated in that nature.

I can agree with that, but I do have to admit the upconversion does make my SD DVDs look much better than they did on my standard TV. Nevertheless, if an SD DVD had a bad transfer to begin with, you notice the flaws even more in HD.
