Clive Barker was a good writer though. I read many of his books (not yet made into movies) when I was much younger. He's covered just about everything... speaking of which, whatever happened to that Disney Abarat project?

"Imajica" is one of my very favorite books and would make an epic film if ever done. If only people really knew how much more of a fantasy writer the Barker is compared to being labbled as a horror writer. "Weaveworld" would also make a great flick, as would "The Great and Secret Show" and "Everville"!

My vote for "I can't Take It" is the ending of "Se7en"! Even though you never see it, you know what's in that box that Brad opens. Probably more disturbing than anything I can think of, but sometimes what you don't see can take you over the edge.

tim,

actually, there is a two-frame flash to gwyneth's face, though it's just a shot of her smiling and lying down in bed.

"I can't take it"... well almost.

Remember the scene early in TRAINSPOTTING, when one of the heroin-addicted characters is at that bar, and then goes to the bathroom, and the movie's director freezes the image upon entering, adding the words "Worst Toilet in Scotland"... and we see why at the site of the toilet bowl(!) - and the heroin hit accidentally gets dropped down into the horribly disgusting bowl... and THEN what follows(!) as the character 'dives' down to retrieve it!!!

Oh... I'll never forget that image!

Ok, so the spew salad is done on purpose? I ask because I know the rest of us can manage "one paragraph" and "one picture (if needed)"! It would seem there's some antagonizing going on and I thought that's what we were trying to avoid in these message boards. Is it just Eddie and I, or are the rest of you tired of Jimi Love's spew salads?

**Dead-Alive is obviously Peter Jackson`s favorite movie**

That's because it's his best movie. It's good to know your sex life doesn't have to stop just because you become a zombie. "I kick ass for the Lord!" I showed that graveyard scene in a film studies class once.

I think the punch bowl scene in Bad Taste is sheer fucking genius, by the way.

Meet the Feebles, however, went too far even for me. Something about puppet pornography just doesn't tickle my fancy.

For me, Dancer in the Dark has a few extremely gut-wrenching scenes to watch, but the topper for me is when Selma is all alone in her prison cell and sings into the air duct just for the sake of hearing something. It's so damned sad. And then the ending, of course.

Van Wilder made my brother and myself almost hurl when we saw them eat those creme filled donuts.

Also, Braveheart made me sick when they were torturing him and pulling out his intestines even though they didn't actually show that part. They so let you know exactly what was going on and his expressions just grossed me out.

Tim, Clive Barker's imagination is genius but it's his perversion for horror is what I enjoy about his work. The cenobites installed more fear in me than Linda Blair in the Exorcist.

That would be noneother than "Obi-Wan Kenobi" in the toilet. Considering George Lucas new Star Wars flicks...seems fitting enough.

That "baby" thingy in that movie..."yeah"

And at one point:
The squirm scenes in the first 2 Indy flicks were affective.
