May 20th for Cloverfield and Bee Movie? Hmmm.... interesting.
I'll definitely rent them. Face-Off I already own on HD DVD. My wife really likes that one.

JJ what the bloody hell are you talking about. There has been nothing but civil conversation in this room for the last month and a half. There has been no HD DVD FANBOYS crying. What you need to do is grab that cup sitting over there. The one sitting right beside you. Go ahead and take it, take it and fill it up to the brim with some STFU!!!!

Oh, come on, I'm sure Jason was just joking. What's missing is all the fun we used to have fighting over the damn formats -- Jason was just trying to stir up ole times, and it did make me laugh!

IB... your forgetting Eddie (posters5) - obviously the #1 HD-DVD Fanboy 'chode' here on the DVDTOWN Msg Bd, who hates anything Blu-ray, gripes and whines often (including political attacks), and also posting repetitive images of the (old) Blu-ray disc 'incompatible' pink screen -and- 'Master of the Obvious' dribble. I've learned lately the guy cannot reason when it comes to Blu-ray, with much 'chodespeak' revealed time and again. For example, take a quick read on Pgs 5-7 of this thread.
And if you perhaps decide to provide some beneficial and relevant info on various thread subjects, better keep it short, as His Chodeness (Eddie) will lable your posts as 'spew salads' <(see here), etc... even though it's obvious he reads every word!

Camped out infront of GameStop to get it... I was the first one there, so they gave me a free Strategy Guide!
I really hope they pop out Sweeney Todd soon.

Yea Sweeney Todd would make good sense, I still want the Warner "UK CUT" of the film though, screw the Dreamworks 'R' rated version.
But what's this "No Country For Old Men" Crap about??
That was a Paramount Vantage Release, but it was DISTRIBUTED BY BVHE/MIRAMAX, it was already released back on March 11th...

Got the Blu-Light Special version right here besides the PS3, probably already watched it 4-5 times, how is that news???
I just hope this wasn't a hasty rush to market with Bad Encodes and NO Special Features.
The Blu version of Transformers better have a decent amount of BD Live content to be worth buying the BD, when I already own the HD DVD and the SD DVD versions.

As with "Sweeney Todd" and "There Will Be Blood", Paramount split distribution rights to "No Country for Old Men" with another studio. This explains why Paramount is releasing "No Country for Old Men" on Blu-ray outside of the U.S. and Canada.

Just so Jason knows, It was NOT a stab at Blu-Ray! It was a stab at poor poor Micheal Bay, the worlds second best rate director. Speilberg is at number 1! Who could forget Artificial Intelligence... I know I could...
By the way Republicans can all Kiss My A$$. I'm out of the country now... Haa that felt good.

So apparently everyone except for me has missed the $ony and P$3 references. Not to mention the lack of consumer choice which decided the format war. Anyway...
Reaggie, I know you didn't mean anything by it. I just couldn't resist piggybacking.
Jason, amused

Godfather is being released in Europe June 2 in a new edition. A BD edition isn't guaranteed, but it would make a splash, wouldn't it?
I wouldn't think we'll see any Trek until Trek XI gets released on disc for Christmas 2009. Paramount still needs to get TOS Remastered on BD out...
Indiana Jones, much like Star Wars, is owned by Lucasfilm. It's up to them as to when the movies get released.
Jason, where's Forrest Gump?

Loved A.I.) Can't wait for the blu-ray. Watched Cloverfield last night. It would have been ALOT better if the cameraman didnt speak. I mean who in the hell would be "filming" their best friend's reaction to his brothers death? Took me out of the film. CAMERAMEN DO NOT AND SHOULD NOT SPEAK!
