It must be nice to have no concerns of the economy and your future financial status.

I'm £50 ($100) a week in diesel and every week it increases. It's just going to get worse. Oil is currently at a record high of $120 a barrel and opec say it may reach $200.

Good grief man, you live on a little island!

Here's a solution. Get yourself one of these pictured below and you can commute between Glasgow and London everyday and still have money left over for a weekly Blu-ray title out of that $100.

Yes and my car does 55mpg - all that doesn't help when we pay $11 a gallon over here for diesel.

Scotsman, you may find this useful for finding local stations with the best current prices. Apparently it`s kept fairly up to date:

Right now our price per liter is averaging locally at $1.20 CDN.

Thanks Skyhawk

Just now I prefer to stick to Shell VPower Diesel which is currently at around £1.23 ($2.47) a litre - at least it was at the start of the week so no doubt will be more now.

If opec are right about $200 then I'll be going for the cheapest available.

I just ordered an 80GB Zune and a $300 pair of Sennheiser HD 595 Audiophile Headphones along with 6 more HD DVD's. Oh, woe is the American economy!!! It's called keeping some money in your savings account and spending it on things you want, when you want them. Jeezuss!! Quit crying!

Ya know, you do attract more bees with honey than with vinegar.

Besides, in order to put money away into a savings account, you need to be able to SAVE money after paying bills and expenses. When gas keeps going up, the other income goes done. Even I get that math.

Uhhhh. Scotsman up their is paying 11 bucks a gallon. I think we americans owe him an apology, considering it was our government that messed everything up.

"Sorry bud." (cueing "Empire" theme)

Do expect to see $20 or less day and date 1080p downloadable movies from iTunes and Xbox Live by year end.

In other word, downloading is taking off faster than Blu-Ray.

How long is 1080p downloadable content going to take TO download over the existing lines?

No way it's going to be any appreciable percent of business this year or next or the one after that.

Save it, deadmeat. You always stop responding in a thread as soon as someone points out an obvious flaw in any of your arguments. You have a clear anti-Blu-ray agenda with no objectivity, and your credibility is about zero right now.
